The images were generated by segmentation map, drawn by the traces made by water droplets running down a screen as if down a rainy window. The map was fed to a local neural network which had been trained on a dataset of flickr landscapes by Gene Kogan, hosted in Runway ML. The ‘landscape’ returned by the model was then projected back onto the streams of water.
